Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all reservations and stays at The Historic Hattie House (“Hotel,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By booking or staying, you agree to these Terms:

1. Reservations & Payments

A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations.
 

Payment or deposit may be taken at booking.
 

Rates are quoted in USD and subject to applicable taxes.
 

2. Cancellations, Changes & No-Shows

Cancel 7 days or more before arrival = full refund.
 

Cancel within 24 hours of arrival or no-show = full stay charged.
 

Changes are subject to availability and may affect rates.
 

3. Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
 

Check-out: 11:00 AM.
 

Valid government-issued photo ID and matching credit card required.
 

Early check-in or late check-out must be pre-approved (fees may apply).
 

4. Guest Conduct & Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for damage, loss, or excessive cleaning.
 

Smoking indoors is prohibited; $250 cleaning fee applies.
 

Visitors not on the reservation require management approval.
 

Pets only with prior approval; additional fees may apply.
 

5. Liability
The Hotel is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to personal property.
 
Parking is at guest’s own risk.

The Hotel is not liable for injuries, accidents, or events beyond our control.

6. Privacy & Data Use
Guest data is collected only for booking, communication, and legal compliance.

​Data is not sold or shared except where required by law.
 
7. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for non-performance due to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or other events outside our control.

8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Washington County, Virginia.

9. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or staying at The Historic Hattie House, you confirm that you understand and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
