AROUND HERE, A GOOD TIME
IS A FINE ART

THE MUSE
OF THE MOUNTAIN TOPS
We recommend a walk, run, hike, or bike ride through rolling hills and farmland on the famous Creeper Trail.
The adventures don’t stop there. If you want to go further, you can rent e-bikes and head to Trail Town USA, Damascus. Test your mountain bike skills on our Pump Track. Hike the Appalachian Trail through Grayson Highlands. Go fly fishing with local guides. Head out for a day out on South Holston Lake at one of our many marinas. Or take the family for a pick-up game of your choice at the Meadows Sports Complex or the Coomes Recreation Center.
We’re right in the middle of all of what nature has to offer.

INSPIRATION COMES
TO LIFE EVERYWHERE
Starting with the artwork on our walls by resident artist, Donna Johnson, to the Arts Depot right across the street, you’ll see creativity is in the air here in Abingdon.
With the William King Museum, Holston Mountain Artisans, the galleries on Main St., antique shops filled with artistic treasures, crafting workshops on-site, and the Historic Barter Theatre, you’ll see why the Appalachian Mountains have been our muse for centuries.
Getting away from it all doesn’t mean you have to do it all. Soaking up peace and tranquility is right around the corner at the Salt of the Earth spa. Take your taste buds on a tour at the Abingdon Olive Oil Company. Enjoy world-class free live music popping up all over town at our many bars and restaurants. Or just soak up the beauty of nature around every corner.
